Adrian Stroie

Adrian is most proud dad of three wonderful children and when he doesn't brag about them, he likes mentioning about swimming around Manhattan in under 8 hours.Adrian started running in 2012 and London 2020 was supposed to be his sixth World Marathon Major. With Covid cancellations he ended up with spots for Boston, London and NYC marathons within five weeks during Fall 2021. Then, he was diagnosed with cancer and started seven weeks of radiation/chemo treatment in September 2021. Running kept him going through it all and he even ran Boston and NYC. But he could not travel to London during treatment. Adrian is looking forward to meeting such an accomplished group of runners and finally running London!
