Andreas Weichert

Andreas completed his 7 Continents Journey in 2026 in Marrakesh. The 2019 Antarctic Ice Marathon was his 23rd full marathon. It was not his first marathon on ice, however, as he has twice run the Lake Baikal International Ice Marathon across the world’s biggest lake in Siberia. He dedicates his running adventure to his father, Dieter, a silver medalist in gymnastics for Canada at the 1959 Pan American Games.
