Becca Pizzi

Becca Pizzi, 46, lives in Belmont, Massachusetts with her husband Joe and their 18-year-old daughter, Taylor. A 1998 graduate of Belmont High School, Becca made history as the first American female to complete the World Marathon Challenge—running 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days—in 2016. She returned to the event and broke the Guinness World Record with an incredible time of 6 days, 7 hours, and 58 minutes.

Becca has completed a marathon in all 50 states, finished the Abbott World Marathon Majors, and run 22 consecutive Boston Marathons. She also competed at the Ironman World Championships in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii (2023 and 2025) and in Nice, France (2024).

Becca credits her success to the love and support of her family and the Boston running community. She is the Race Director of the World Marathon Challenge, the founder of the Becca Pizzi Foundation, which has awarded over $100,000 in scholarship.

She is also the author of the children’s book Becca’s Feat on Feet, with all proceeds benefiting the Becca Pizzi Foundation.
