Chad Garlock

Chad is an employee of the State of Minnesota. He started his running career at age 30 with the goal of completing the Marathon Grand Slam by 50. He will complete the goal just before 40 by running the Antarctic Ice Marathon. Below is the list of his journey to run all 7 continents and the North Pole Marathon: Africa- Port Elizabeth, South Africa Crusaders Athletic Club ASPEN PE December 2014; Asia- Camp Virginia Kuwait- Bataan Death March 2012; Australia- Carcoar NSW- Carcoar Cup Running Festival November 2017; Europe- Düsseldorf Germany- Metro Marathon April 2016; North America-St Paul Minnesota Twin Cities Marathon October 2014; North Pole Marathon April 2017; South America- Vina Del Mar Chile Marathon Inernacional Costa Pacifico November 2012. Chad is married with one child and two cats. In addition to running, he enjoys biking, rollerblading, whiskey, and craft beer.
