Geoffrey Jones

Geoff, originally from Aberdeen, Scotland, has made Lafayette, Louisiana his home for the past three decades, gradually forgetting what snow looks like. Despite taking up running later in life, he achieved a remarkable milestone in 2013 by completing his first marathon, the Houston Marathon. Now, at the age of 67, Geoff recently accomplished an impressive feat by earning his coveted Six Stars medal in Tokyo, marking his successful completion of all the major marathons in the Abbott World Marathon Majors. With his sights set on conquering all seven continents, Geoff is training in the sweltering heat of southern Louisiana during the summer, adding an interesting twist to his training regimen.
