Jeff Maher
I began running at 40 years of age and completed my first marathon in Chicago in 2007. I am now 59 and have run 31 full marathons with PR of 3:13:14 in Richmond VA in 2013. I "retired" from marathons in 2019 but then in August of 2020 was diagnosed with M.S. and my neurologist told me diet and exercise were more important than ever so I made the Abbott World Marathon Majors my goal. I completed my 7th WMM in Sydney in 2025 and have subsequently signed up of for the 777 WMC in 2027 raising funds for the Susan Hurley Fund. I am both excited and petrified to undertake this quest and can't wait to see what curveballs this adventure brings! Bring it On!
