Jennie Nance

Jennie Nance describes herself as a later in life runner. She ran her first 10k in 2013 which led to multiple halfs and her first full marathon in 2016 - Chicago. While running Chicago, she decided she didn’t want to be One and Done so she set the goal of 5 specific races. After Chicago, she ran the Marine Corp (2017), a delayed New York (2021) and Dallas (2021). London, one of her favorite cities, has been her dream finish and she’s excited to have the chance to run it this year. Of course, now she realizes she’s halfway through the majors so this may not be the end after all…..Jennie is a native of Atlanta, Georgia but finally got to move back the place she loves best in 2019 - Dallas, Texas. She lives in Dallas with her two teenaged girls, Libbie and Claire, who will be in London, cheering their mom on. Jennie owns a small business and is heavily involved in volunteer work, especially at her alma mater, SMU.
