Biography
Dr. Jianan Li is a leading expert in rehabilitation medicine. A specialist in cardiovascular and spinal cord rehabilitation, he is a foreign member of the U.S. National Academy of Medicine and a professor at the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. Remarkably, he began running marathons at the age of 64, and by 73, had completed 106 full marathons—including the extraordinary feat of running seven marathons in seven days. This summer, he will take on the North Pole Marathon, and in 2026, he plans to pursue the World Marathon Challenge: seven marathons on seven continents in seven days.
