Jodi Smith

Jodi is from Council Bluffs, IA, and she's excited to be a part of the Runbuk team for London 2023 and for her 4th Star. Jodi's WMM journey began in 2009 when she was presented with a once in a lifetime opportunity (a scarce but very real entry waiver) to run her very first marathon: Boston. A year later her name was drawn for NYC. In 2012, she was honored to run Chicago for a charity with real impacts close to home (OAR). After several years and a major health scare leaving her wondering if she would ever walk again, let alone run, Jodi is now healthy and determined to pick up where she left off. London '23 (4), Berlin '23 (5) and hopefully cap the journey in 2024.
