Jose Alvarez

Jose is 53 years old, a retired CSM (Command Sergeant Major) from the US Army, with 31 years of military service involving multiple deployments and assignments around the world. Antarctica will mark his 7th continent to visit. He's aiming to join the 7 Continent Marathon club in 2024, and by April 2024, he's scheduled to complete all 6 World Marathon Majors. His previous running achievements in the last two years include: In 2022, he ran marathons in Sydney, Copenhagen, Reykjavik, and Singapore. In 2023, he completed one marathon per month, including races in Luxembourg, Rio de Janeiro, Helsinki, Berlin, Chicago, and New York City.
