Kirsty Walker

Kirsty began running in her teens on a doctor’s recommendation to improve poor blood circulation. The opportunity to participate in 5 & 10k races began when her and her husband moved to Central Florida. During this time, Kirsty was inspired by a beloved former colleague who started running marathons in his forties. When her and her husband crossed the finish line of their first half marathon, she knew she would run a marathon one day but had no idea just how far and where her hobby would take her.To-date, Kirsty has had the good fortune to complete 53 half-marathons, Disney Goofy, 1 Ultra, 2 triathlons, and 22 full marathons including Marine Corps, Big Sur, and four of the Abbott World Marathon Majors: New York ‘14, Chicago ‘15, Boston ‘17 and Berlin ‘19. After downshifting to shorter distances and virtual races during the pandemic, she was beyond excited to run the very coveted London marathon. Kirsty wishes everyone happy training, and looks forward seeing everyone in October!
