Marilyn Lappin

Marilyn is from Prairie Village, Kansas which is a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. She is excited to run the London Marathon, which will be her tenth marathon since 2008 and fifth star in her journey to complete the majors. Marilyn is a CPA and works in housing finance. Marilyn and her spouse of thirty-two years, Brian, and have three grown children and three cats with much personality. During the pandemic with a lot of free time for long miles, Marilyn trained and completed the Prairie Spirit 50k. Marilyn runs most of her miles with wonderful friends in her Kansas City Express women’s running club. Marilyn’s many running stories include a Spaniard saving her from being trampled at the NYC marathon in 2010.
