Michael Jurado

Michael Jurado is from Chicago, IL. He ran his first race in 1999, participating in a JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge in Dallas, TX. In 2007, he ran his first 10k, and in 2008, his first half marathon. In 2011, he completed four races including two 5Ks, one 10K, and two half marathons. His marathon journey began in 2012 by completing the Chicago Marathon. Over the last 11 years (from 2013 to 2023), he has run a total of 15 marathons, including the NYC Marathon and the Berlin Marathon. His major goals are to complete the London Marathon in 2024, the Tokyo Marathon in 2025, and the Boston Marathon in 2026. He is grateful for discovering running as it has become a cornerstone habit in his life. He has made many friends along his journey and looks forward to making many more through Runbuk.
