Misty Fontenot

Misty started running 11 years ago after never doing anything truly athletic on a regular basis. A friend of hers was a runner and Misty got interested in trying to work herself up to a 5k with and got the bug!Misty has run 8 Marathons and 3 Ultra Marathons on road and trails including the Chicago Marathon in 2015 and 2022. Her goal is to be a Six Star finisher & London will be her 2nd star on that journey. She will be running the Chevron Houston Marathon in January 2023 as my 9th Marathon, so London will proudly be her 10th and will be run for fun. It is a bucket list race. She has tried to gain entry 6 years in a row & was so happy to find the group as an opportunity to finally make that wish come true.Misty is also a certified RRCA Run Coach and has been with a coach herself for 8 years. She loves running so much & can’t wait to be with her fellow runners in April in jolly ol’ England to see all of our dreams come true!
