Nilo B. Vergara

Nilo has been a Neurosurgeon based in Cebu City, the Philippines for the past 20 years. Running has been his preferred form of exercise for quite a while. About 7 years ago, the marathon distance became a fad in his area; he completed a local marathon and got the marathon bug as a leisure runner thereafter. He completed the Abbott World Marathon Majors in 2018 running Tokyo, London, Berlin, NYC, Boston and Chicago. He’s finished five out of the 7 continents, namely Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Australia. The Antarctic Ice Marathon will be his 6th continent and he’s looking forward to finishing this great and exceptional race.
