Renee Sobrino

As an avid runner from a young age, Renée is excited to complete her first marathon at the top of the world. She figures she’ll start with some of the most difficult running conditions in the world and then her next marathon will seem like a walk in the park. Renée is a second-year university student from Canada, who is doing a joint Arts-Science degree in recognition that the world’s biggest challenges are complex and we need to draw on many different knowledges to find solutions. This will be her first trip to the Arctic, but certainly not her last.
