Robert Aparicio

Robert was born and raised in Southern California and now splits his time between the mainland and Honolulu, Oahu. He has been a recreational runner for over fifty years and has completed several marathons, including Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Honolulu, and a few Boston Marathons—2018 being the most challenging. He runs purely for enjoyment and considers running a regular and meaningful part of his life (and he has the shoes to prove it!).While he has also completed shorter distance races, Robert finds the marathon distance to be the most rewarding. He is equally passionate about canoe paddling, especially outrigger canoe and dragon boat competitions. For him, paddling on the beautiful waters of Oahu is an incredible and fulfilling experience.He’s looking forward to sharing time with fellow runners in London this April and wishes everyone the best of luck.
