Simon Silin

(100 KM COMPETITOR) A 29-year-old who only started running recently, competing in his first ultra-marathon in April of 2014. Simon started athletics training in January 2014 , having not run a single mile in the previous five years due to back problems. He then ran a 54km race in Israel and now runs socially, and mainly for charity, in New York City where he lives. After the first run he was totally hooked and has been running almost daily, using running as his mode of transport throughout the City. Simon hopes to complete the 7 continent challenge over the next few years, which he believes will be a fantastic way to see and appreciate the land.
