William (Chip) Cavanaugh

Chip is a 64-year-old real estate lawyer who lives in Dallas, Texas. He has run several marathons in cities like Dallas, Austin, and Chicago. He has also climbed a number of mountains, including Kilimanjaro, Rainier, Grand Teton, and Longs Peak, along with other cool accomplishments. However, he has never attempted anything as ridiculous as running a marathon in Antarctica. Chip will be participating in the Antarctic Ice Marathon with his good friends Rick Kopf, Peter Reilly, and Judson Pankey. Together, they are making the most of the time they have, cherishing the opportunities for exhilarating experiences before they become too old to pursue such remarkable feats.
